Light and Shadows on the Figure
Thursday, 08/24/2023 - 09/28/2023
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST
Number of Lessons: 6
The effects of the light on the human form can be fascinating and unpredictable, the direction or intensity of the light can dramatically change a pose, without the model moving an inch.
In this online, 6 week sessions course, we will draw the human figure in a variety of poses and lighting, to explore the esthetic and creative possibilities created by the light on form using a variety of techniques, such as reduction technique and charcoal and chalk on toned paper.
This course is a very good opportunity to keep practicing drawing the figure including also aesthetic, narrative and expressive elements, and open the door to the exploration of a variety of artistic possibilities.
