Open Drawing Session 15: The Torso, back view.
ODS 15 continues the exploration of the torso that we started with ODS 14. In this session, we will draw the skeleton of ribcage, head and pelvis from the back view and layer the superficial muscles over it.
Finally we will discuss the correspondence between external forms and underlying skeletal and muscular structures, in other words: lot of fun!
Materials: Good quality drawing paper such as Strathmore Drawing series 400, about 11by 14. Pencils: HB, B; Colored pencils: red earth (Venetian or Indian red or Burnt Sienna), blue and black. Erasers and pencil sharpeners.
