Watercolor Landscape

Watercolor is a very versatile medium, suitable to create quick and lively small sketches of landscapes, or more detailed paintings in various sizes using a more deliberate technique. Painting watercolor landscapes can be very relaxing and satisfying but, without a plan on how to approach he subject, we can be easily overwhelmed by its visual cacophony and complexity.

In this 6-online sessions watercolor course, we will practice methods and techniques that will help you to better organize your working and creative methods, copying the works of Masters watercolorists and create original watercolor landscapes from photographic references, create small preliminary studies and sketches to study possible compositions, decide what color palette to use, the methods of execution and eventually moving on to create a final work

Color mixing, color dilution, color theory, washes, blending colors, textural effects, intuitive perspective, are also some of the things that you will learn and practice in the 3 hour, weekly sessions of this course, fundamental for artists interested in watercolor landscape painting.

One of the goals of this course, is also to create a few paintings that you can frame and show off. Or,may be, enter in art shows!
