The forms of Nature in Watercolor: Voyages of Discovery

This watercolor course is dedicated to the artwork created by the intrepid artists that traveled around the world, following the voyages of discovery, in a period that spans between the 16th and 19th centuries.

Exotic plants, fish, and even people from distant continents, will be the subject of our interest of this six-three hour sessions course, during which we will go back in time to rediscover the emotion of painting a newly discovered flower, a strange, unknown animal, a colorful parrot.

Redoute’, the Bauer Brothers, Sydney Parkinson, Sibylla Meriam, Jacopo Ligozzi, Edward Lear, will be some of the artists, from different centuries, that will lend us their work to be studied, copied and enjoyed.
