Watercolor Landscape, Exploring the Master’s Techniques #298

Fom quick studies to finished works.

Paint quick, fresh, lively watercolors, with this 6-online session watercolor course dedicated to practice methods and techniques aimed to improve your technical skills, obtain clean and vibrant colors, paint more efficiently and confidently. These skills will be particularly useful when working outdoors, for both quick or extended sessions.

We will copy the work of master colorists, such as Wyeth, Sargent, Hopper, Turner, to study their painting approach and style, and also create our own artworks from photographic references to put those skills to work: a great way to explore and promote creativity and develop our individual technique and personal artistic voice.

During each 3-our painting session, will create a watercolor landscape painting going through a variety of steps that will help you to further develop your painting skills. We will start each painting session by preparing a variety of small, quick studies, to decide composition, color we palette to use and painting approach. These studies will be then followed by a larger size and more detailed final painting. working from original photographic references of a variety of landscapes that I will provide, and from watercolor Masters.
