This is an introductory anatomy course for figure drawings Anatomy, for the artists that want to build a foundation on anatomy for artists or need to refresh their knowledge on this topic.

This overview course is divided in three sections: stereometry, skeletal and muscular apparatus and aesthetic anatomy.

In the two-three hour classes dedicated to Stereometry, we will create a number of drawings of “box figures” in a variety of poses: static, in movement, in foreshortening, learning about the proportions and structure of the figure and measuring techniques.

In the session dedicated to the skeleton and muscles, we will create three charts of skeleton and muscles in front, back and side view, to learn or review the essentials of topographic anatomy.
