Drawing with #28… Rembrandt!

Rembrandt will be the Guest Star Artist for this session of Drawing with…

For this 2:30 hour, online session I chose a few of his quick sketches that depict, with great empathy, people engaged in everyday activities, candid moments, pensive expressions. These lovely studies, executed in pen and ink and ink or watercolor washes, are going to be a joy to copy and also to practice drawing with a quick, essential and expressive style.

Join me, Wednesday November 30, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM for this drawing session dedicated to a great master of the Baroque. $40

Materials:

  • Drawing paper of good-decent quality, you can also use hot press watercolor paper.
  • A graphite pencil (HB or B), brown ink or brown watercolor, pen and nib, a couple of watercolor brushes, round, # 2 and 8 or so, either synthetic or natural sable
