Animals and Pet Portraits #294

I decided to offer this new course in response to many of the artworks featuring animals and pets that many of you sent me asking for tips and comments, revealing a great interest in this subject.

In this course, we will create a variety of drawings and watercolor artworks, featuring pets and other animals like parrots, horses, goats, to name a few.

The participants will be invited to submit photos of their pets, that I’ll be selecting as reference images for the class, considering the quality of the photo submitted.

For this course, we will be using a variety of media, such as graphite, charcoal and chalk, crayons, colored pencils and watercolors.

We will start with charcoal and chalk on toned paper and we will discuss other possible media during the first class.
