The “guest” Artists for this Foundation Crash Course is Pierre Paul Prud’Hon, a Neo-classical artists active between the 18th and 19th century.

The mesmerizing play of light and shadows on the forms of the figures in his drawings are simply sublime, a pleasure to look at. In the 2 online drawing sessions of this course, we will have occasion study it in detail his refined, precise and clean technique and expand our technical and aesthetic knowledge making copies of a few of his artworks using charcoal and chalk on toned paper.
