Watercolor Foundation: Focus on Landscape #338

Painting the landscape in watercolor can be a very rewarding technique but in order to obtain fresh and expressive paintings, one should become acquainted with its fundamentals and this course is perfect for the artists that want to approach this technique or to further their range of skills: washes, gradations, glazes, wet on wet, wet on dry, drybrush, composition, intuitive perspective, atmospheric perspective. We will also prepare quick sketches and studies to visualize possible solutions for a bigger, more finished work.

During the 6 sessions of this online course, we will paint a variety of landscapes, both from photographic references and master’s watercolors, also practicing specific subjects such as the sky, clouds, water and water reflections, trees, textural effects for rocks, sand, grass and more.
